Classes are aimed at all levels and there is no need to bring a partner. Just turn up, relax and we'll take it from there.
ENTRY FEE
Entry is £5.00 plus a one time membership fee of £1.50.
New members also receive a ½ price entry voucher in their membership pack.
As an existing member if you introduce a new member then you too will receive a ½ price voucher.
BEGINNERS
Beginner classes start at 8.00 pm at all our venues, last for 45 minutes and are aimed at people that have never danced before.
Here you will learn 4 dance moves each week, which can be linked together and danced over and over again as a routine or individually.
Guys will learn how to Lead the lady into the various moves and learn style.
Ladys will learn how to follow the Guy's lead, spin and the feminine touches that make the simplest moves look fantastic.
This is all followed by 15 minutes of freestyle for people to have a quick practice and watch the intermediates warm up for their class.
At 9.00 pm our Riviera Dance Coaches then go through with YOU the very same 4 moves you have just learnt.
That's right! You get extra tuition and our Riviera Dance Coaches are picked for their very friendly nature, so they will help you to relax and they will dance the moves with you all night long.
INTERMEDIATE
Intermediate classes start at 9.00 pm at all our venues, last for 45 minutes and are aimed at people who are confident with the beginner moves.
Here you will learn 4 dance moves each week, which can be linked together and danced over and over again as a routine or individually. The moves will vary from easy, medium to hard, but the routine will never contain more than 2 hard moves.
Guys will learn how to Lead the lady into the various moves with style, a little footwork and musical interpretation.
Ladys this is where you will learn show off..!
After the class our Dance Riviera Teachers will be available to go over the moves again and dance freestyle with you all night long.
FREESTYLE
Freestyle begins at 9.45 pm and finishes at 11.00 pm at all our venues. We aim to bring you the best music from the past and the present. Please feel free to ask for particular tunes you want playing. We will be only to glad to help!
